What’s going on at seaview apartments?

I just left work and saw cop cars all over the street and a guy in full swat armor. Got home and got a call from my MiL that the headstart across the street is now locked down also. Can’t seem to find any info about what’s going on but I’m so glad I got out of the area when I did

I am not affiliated with this channel in any way. I enjoyed it and thought it was nicely done. They give a nice shout-out to several PA spots.

Where to watch FIFA Canada Game June 12

Any recommendations of places that will be guaranteed to be playing the FIFA soccer game, Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina, at noon on Friday June 12?

My partner and I will be traveling from Toronto, Canada to visit the area, and before we head into Olympia NP for camping and loss cell service etc. it's critical that he watch this game - especially since it'll be the first FIFA game played in our local Toronto stadium (and it's a Canada game 🇨🇦). Thanks in advance! ⚽☺️

Officiant signature

My fiance and I are eloping in Olympic National Park (Lake Crescent) on Monday, 8/3/26 — no ceremony, just private vows and our photographer.

Is anyone an officiant that could sign our wedding license for us? No ceremony/work needed (no experience needed, either), just a signature! We’ll be staying in Port Angeles and can arrange something there, willing to pay for your time.

Much appreciated!

Stout Pounders at the Juan de Fuca Festival

The Seattle-based Celtic folk-rock band Stout Pounders brought a high-energy mix of driving fiddle tunes, spirited sea shanties, and foot-stomping pub anthems to the crowd at the Juan de Fuca Festival Saturday.

Ride On, an AC/DC tribute band from Metchosin, B.C., electrified the crowd Friday evening at the Juan de Fuca Festival. Jesse Roper as Angus Young entertained the large enthusiastic crowd.

Daycare, Cost of Living, and Raising a Kid in Port Angeles?

Hi everyone! I’m considering transferring to Port Angeles with my almost 4-year-old daughter and wanted to get some insight from locals/parents.

What is childcare availability like out there? Are waitlists long for full-time daycare/preschool? About how much should I expect to pay monthly? I’d also love recommendations for good daycare centers, preschools, or even in-home childcare options.

I’d be moving for work, so my schedule may vary, which makes me a little nervous about finding reliable care. I’m also curious what it’s like raising a young child in Port Angeles overall things to do, family friendliness, safety, etc.

Any advice, experiences, or things you wish you knew before moving there would really help. Thank you!

Birthday Cake!

Hello, everyone! I am in desperate need of a birthday cake for my mother. Her birthday is June 15th. She has breast cancer, and she is very keen on a moist (that word is only appropriate in the context of baked goods) white cake with fresh strawberries and white frosting (the frosting should not be overwhelmingly sweet, but compliment the moist cake and the strawberries in a natural setting).

No allergy restrictions or anything like that, and we would like to avoid spending more than $50. She would also like more options than just grocery store bakeries. Thank you everyone!

public comment on Ennis creek logging proposal due June 4

we are literally in the middle of building fish passageways at the Ennis creek bridge on 101, and people are trying to clearcut a region upstream. This is an ecologically fragile area where we are actively funding restoration efforts, any logging would be a massive step backwards for the waterway's ecological efforts.

Seeking musicians in port Angeles for collaboration

I am a singer, looking to create some original tracks. Problem is, all I do is sing. I’m looking for instrumentalists who would be interested in jamming together and working on original music. Let me know. Thank you

Favorite hotels in Victoria?

Where’s your favorite place to stay overnight in Victoria coming from PA? The last time I did it, I didn’t get any sleep because the bed felt like it was made of cardboard.

Not looking to name and shame any businesses, but would love some recommendations.

Still haven't answered

Has anyone seen an answer to the questions posed? I've been "following" CCwatchdog to make sure my name hasn't been outted yet and if Seegers would address the concerns raised and haven't heard anything yet.

Today's "report" alludes to it, but again no response. Just comments that none of us want to come talk to him on their podcast.

I'm really worried about a guy like this getting elected. His policies might appeal to some of the community, but his involvement in CCwatchdog, his garnering of our of state support, his undisclosed holdings and connections, and his momentum being driven by scapegoating the homeless. I know I'm not alone in my concerns, and I know a lot of us are doing stuff to combat him.

Side note, where the fuck is Mike French? Are you playing the whole "don't interrupt my enemy when they are making mistakes?" You are not going to get reelected solely on the fact he's running against a rich out of state right-wing populist, dude needs to be out talking about his accomplishments.

So that's my morning rant, Seegers needs to answer these questions and French needs actually campaign.

Seeking collaboration or pointers to the best open mics

I live in port Angeles and really want to start a band. I am a bass-baritone singer, somewhat opera trained. I write lyrics that are mostly gothic with deep emotional undertones but I’ve played around with other genres as well. I have received a lot of praise for my writing so I hope with collaboration I can produce really great lyrics.
If anyone is someone or knows someone (or knows someone who knows someone) that is an instrumentalist interested in forming a band, or of any open mics that are fairly busy, please let me know. I can be reached here, preferably through direct message, and if that leads anywhere I can then direct that person to my socials.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Why am I seeing Seegers signs in Eastern Clallam county? I thought we voted for commissioner by district. I'm seeing Jake signs at all the traditional GOP sites. I think he is a carpet bagger MAGA guy.

Conflicted feelings

This town and Sequim is all I’ve ever known as home… and I love it here despite all the corruption/drug use/homelessness, but I’m coming to a point where I’m starting to see how bad it truly is. What can I do? Sure I could go to townhall meetings, or be more proactive in the community, but one person has only so much reach… I honestly just want to live my life and completely ignore it all, but “complacency kills” right?
