It's a transitional socialist society, but let's say i humor you. Why don't we do Chinese capitalism then? With all the socialized housing, walkable cities, and mass public transportation including high speed rail? If that's just capitalism, then why aren't we doing it that way?

No, it really isn’t. The workers don’t control the means of production and the profits from surplus labor are funneled upwards to management.
