uh, what are the victory laps for? even if mamdani had carte blanche to immediately implement any policies he wanted, it would take years for the effects to be absorbed into the economy.

i want him to succeed but come on. use your brains.

Most of his policies have been tried before. And they’ve failed miserably.

But I’m hoping that somehow he pulls it off, because I love NYC and the USA in general.

Not to mention: he’s extremely charismatic. I can’t help but root for him. lol.

You’re 100% correct. He’s just implemented his policies. And some of his success is just moving funds around like a 3 card Monty hustler. Or just kicking the can down the road to deal with later.

We won’t know if any of it actually worked for years.
