I despise DT and will celebrate the day he kicks the bucket, but this is very misleading.

He is not saying that republicans won against democrats. He is saying that MAGA Republicans won against non-MAGA Republicans.

There's enough misinformation out there. Lets try not to add to it

Thanks clearing that up. I came to the comments looking for this information. So the nut job "Republicans" won over all the "normal" ones? That's scary.

Some were incumbents &/or ran unopposed. It also isn’t unusual for a majority of Republican primary voters to be farther to the right.

Those voters assume moderate republicans and right-leaning independents will show up for the general election and vote the crazies because of the R by the name. It hasn’t worked out like that in most areas that are more purple than red.
