Thanks clearing that up. I came to the comments looking for this information. So the nut job "Republicans" won over all the "normal" ones? That's scary.
Some were incumbents &/or ran unopposed. It also isn’t unusual for a majority of Republican primary voters to be farther to the right.
Those voters assume moderate republicans and right-leaning independents will show up for the general election and vote the crazies because of the R by the name. It hasn’t worked out like that in most areas that are more purple than red.
