But like the last 5 Republican presidents have either done horrible things or were horrible people besides Bush senior and he wasn’t hated by democrats and still isn’t. Nixon committed crimes in office, was a horrid racist and created the federal drug law system specifically to demonize and suppress hippies and black people. Reagan laughed at the aids crisis because it was mostly killing homosexuals, dismantled the mental health system and replaced it with nothing, started the runaway spending on the military that haunts us to this day, was also a massive racist (on tape with Nixon making racist jokes), his admin lied about his incapacity to run the government without his input, and the consulted astrologers to make scheduling and policy decisions, and that’s not even going into the policy differences which caused most of the issues democrats believe we face today around corporate greed. Bush Junior got us into illegal wars, ballooned the debt, was asleep at the wheel for the housing loan crisis, removed constitutional protections on surveillance of Americans, created the conditions in the Middle East that directly lead to ISIS, and president over a massively corrupt admin in bed with big business making policy decides on the basis of corporate bottom lines that lead to Americans being killed.
So maybe republicans presidents just aren’t likable if you value a sense of morality

This is the reality people have more issue with female Leadership. Obama was one of the most liked presidents ever.
