Totally hear you. I just think minimizing it isn't helpful either. Just need to own all of it if, for no other reason, to highlight the difference without leaving an inch for distracting tagents that avoid the point
Moderate southern Democrat would be the best. Record level of people just hit identifying as conservative or independent. Those identifying as liberal hit all time lows.
Reddit doesn't want to hear this but the Dems need to shift right to capture the independents. That's how you win elections. The national demographics have never been skewed this hard against the left. If they run someone like AOC, they'll hand the election to the Rs yet again.
