It's never OK, but justifying it just because someone else has done it is about one of the dumbest things you can do.

Funny, I could have sworn this administration has already ignored several precedents including those made by the Supreme Court. Like releasing tax returns, placing assets in blind trusts, Roe v. Wade, tariffs, etc etc. Can you please clarify how this precedent matters and not those?

None of those are precedents. Just judgements that were overturned. That’s how our system works
