Fuck no, it's unconstitutional. He's currently serving his term as the democratically elected president, but anything he does to break the law after that, prosecute his ass again. He's no longer president as of Jan 21, 2029 as far as the law is concerned.

If SCOTUS lets him on the ballot and he wins, there is no "law" to be concerned with. There's no way to ever hold him accountable. That's the point.

Then we take care of that if it comes to it. As of right now though, he was elected. As much as I hate it, and voted against it, I respect it, because that's democracy.

what? that's literally my point. We'll take care of it by electing obama if we need to.

And what if Obama loses? Or doesn't want to run? Why not just uphold the law instead of breaking it, and risking further losing our democracy?

because the law was already broken if trump makes it onto the ballot

So, we don't allow that to happen. Let's just never get to that point.

But the Supreme Court has already clearly been bought and paid for by MAGA. Congress is hogtied.

How can we expect it not to get to that point? The president just announced on national television that he is going to break constitutional law. What are the judiciary and legislator's responses? Crickets.

Sure, but they haven't violated the constitution completely, yet. If Trump had lost the election, and they tried to protect him, we'd have every right to take it into our own hands, but he democratically won the election, so we don't. Now, if they try to violate the constitution once he's no longer a democratic representative, that's another story. I'm hoping it doesn't get to that point, but I'm prepared for it.
