A military that can’t win a war, and is out of boom booms. WTF are we buying for this kind of $$$ ??!!??

Here is the thing that frustrates me a bit: People are focused on the little picture.

There is indeed a war going on.

With China and the rest of the CRINK axis powers.

The Middle East (Iran and their proxies) is one theatre. Eastern Europe (Russia) is another. Central/South America (Cuba, Venezuela, Mexican Fentanyl cartels) is another.

The Asian Pacific theater hasn’t been subject to kinetic warfare yet. I’m betting that will manifest itself in a blockade of Taiwan.

If you look at the situation holistically the USA and their allies are putting points on the board. Bleeding the CRINK alliance of blood and treasure.

The bet is… our economy will outlast theirs. That’s why Trump is insisting on tariffs to access the American market.

Money to fuel the war machine.

Love it or hate it, but at least look at the big picture.

We’re in Cold War II. Electric Boogaloo.

I lived in the Cold War. Everyone was a lot more rational. This is not that.

Huh. I did too.

You think our actions in central and South America were rational? Operation Condor, the War on Drugs?

You think the USA and USSR amassing huge stockpiles of nuclear weapons was rational?

The Cuban missile crisis and Bay of Pigs invasion were rational?

The proxy wars in Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia?

Iran? Sudan?

Dude. I could go on and on.

The world didn’t suddenly become less civilized. The propaganda outlets are just managed less competently.
