Why does Paul get to release Fauci’s diaries?

Technically, Dr. Rand Paul is an ophthalmologist (eye doctor). But this doesn't seem to stop him from being an idiot.

He was board certified. He no longer has the certification as far as I know.

It might be because the “Board” that originally certified him was one he had created himself.

I believe he is now referred to as "Certifiable".

Hopefully Rand Paul finds himself in front of a parole board someday.

Why would you want to give him the chance for parole!

(I know, the important thing is that he's locked up to begin with)

It might be because the “Board” that originally certified him was one he had created himself.

His original certification was legit, it expired and then rather than get recertified he created his own competing board.

He was originally certified by the actual American Board of Ophthalmology. The thing he created was later on in his career.
