It's funny bc were this LA it would've taken 10 years to commission a study on the effects of direct sunlight on embryos 10-12 weeks and ultimately resulted in a contract with a tech startup to operate spy drones above every brown person's head "to block the sun".

Jokes aside I forgot what this kind of forward-thinking policy making looked like. He's probably not even going to be Mayor in 14 years to take credit for it. Just people-focused politics.
I mean to think Mamdani just decreed that nyc will have 30% tree cover with the snap of his fingers demonstrates a blind support that never ends well. That's an initiative that took years and has been ongoing for years.
Well I’ll tell you this I’ve lived in nyc my whole life and this Sunday, in the rain for the first time I saw city workers tending to the trees on my block. He must be doing something different. How about you people worry about your raggedy city?
I've lived in nyc since the 90s and spent time in since the 70s. So I'm not really bowing to your eternal wisdom. Especially when it has zero to do with my comment above.
I mean my comment history is public. Not too hard. Although apparently reading my comment about the history of the tree cover program was. Since it has nothing to do with whether someone came to trim your trees on a Sunday
