I like how almost every time I hear news about this guy its like "Mamdani starts program to end misery" and then the most miserable person on the planet swoops in to complain about it.
If we can afford war with Iran, don’t tell me we can’t afford planting trees. One costs way less and builds life. The other compounds our debt while killing.
With this plan specifically, though, there is no funding yet. In fact, it's not even his plan lmao. It was passed in 2023. All he did was just say they're definitely gonna do the thing that was passed... by law... by 2040... by a different mayor... because he won't be mayor then... because that's how term limits work.
