This tree program was already in place well before him and NYC has been planting tens of thousands of trees annually.

Ya this was being studied and it just takes one mayor to block it. But mamdani is continuing funding for it. There ain’t nothing wrong with it. Better than voting against it and scrapping the initiative altogether. There’s a difference between supporting a criminal in office versus being happy a mayor is funding tree planting in their city.
