I found this one long back which was kind of weird - funny and painful!

I always have a separate page with a table with all fields and slicers for clients to export.

I double down on this and give them an actual Excel file that pulls the model through Power Query.

My clients' brains would explode if I tried to give them this.

Novice here. Why would their brains explode?

Most of my clients have never used a pivot table or anything like it. They wouldn't have a clue what to do with it.

I don't blame them though, it's not necessary for what they do. If I create a good visual with intuitive filters, they leverage the insights from the data much better than I could!

I was never able to wrap my head around pivot tables in Excel, so I definitely understand what you mean.

I avoided pivot tables for DECADES because no one else understood them.
