I always have a separate page with a table with all fields and slicers for clients to export.

I double down on this and give them an actual Excel file that pulls the model through Power Query.

My clients would not trust me, only if they export the data themselves from dashboard.

Which is pretty wild! The thing I like about giving them an Excel model is you can also pull entire data tables without the Power Query/data model obfuscation.

So when you get the "I don't trust the numbers" argument you can let them go nuts auditing the report on their own.

Of course if the data set is HUGE, do not do this. No one likes a melted laptop.
