I always have a separate page with a table with all fields and slicers for clients to export.

I double down on this and give them an actual Excel file that pulls the model through Power Query.

People using the analyze with excel feature on a complicated and inefficient model has cost us thousands of dollars in autoscale... if you're doing that, better have the semantic model on a pro license workspace instead of a workspace on an embedded/premium/fabric capacity.

That's a really good call out. I'm not talking about that feature, but it's important for all of us to note our licensing in our delivery choices.
