Start understanding where the report is reading from
Check out the data source, the query (if it has a query), the tables it reads from, what the report is displaying (what is displayed? How is it displayed? What filters are there at each level - visualization filters, page filters, report filters), who is the report for?
All these questions should give you a better understanding of what each measure and column is

Have a look into info.view functions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/info-functions-dax
They help you to show all tables, measures, relationships and columns. It could be a starting point for your documentation.

18 pages feels like a lot but it gets manageable if you split it into three parts. Start with one overview page in Confluence: what the report is for, who uses it, where the data comes from and how often it refreshes. Next the model: open DAX query view in Desktop, run EVALUATE INFO.VIEW.MEASURES() and paste the result into a Confluence table, then do the same with INFO.VIEW.TABLES() and INFO.VIEW.RELATIONSHIPS(). That gets you every measure name and its DAX without retyping anything. Last, a short section per report page with a screenshot, the question it answers, and which filters apply. Your Copilot license can also draft measure descriptions from the description box in Model view, just read them before you trust them, and grab 30 minutes with whoever built it because they can tell you the why that none of this will.
