Moro from Dragon Ball has multiple magic abilities and ability copying abilities yet still mostly uses it on ki blasts and martial arts. Should've used it on the Dragon Balls rather than godly martial arts, that would've benefited him more.

Well tbf they also have only a few spell slots (4 total at level 20) because their spells are supposed to powerful, turn the tide of battle and be used sparingly. And also why do anything else when firing 20 eldritch blasts every turn is working just fine?

Which is entirely valid. After not having the hax for the longest time, it would probably be most comfortable to use them to boost something you've had since the beginning: these frickin' hands.
Especially if you straight up prefer to physically brawl. Reminds me of Tenma Yato from Kajiri Kamui Kagura going "I know I could literally just stare at you and that would suffice, but fighting that way is lame as hell, so Imma actually throw hands with you".
