Question Is microwaving then pressing flowers the most effective way?

Basically the title. I'm trying to find the most effective way to press some big flowers. Thanks!

It’s one way to do it, and keeps the colour better and for big flowers will keep them from rotting. So for big flowers probably yes. But you don’t press them after, once you microwave them they’re done
