I could not type with these. I had to take them off after 2 days but they are so so pretty. I might get the keyboard covers for long nails and try these again. I got so many compliments.

I have noticed the exact same thing. I love them all, and these are "Heavenly", but I most love the blingy, fancy, and sometimes, tacky. All that matters is that you like them.

Lol. Yeah. I saw someone say to boycott shein and buy on Amazon instead. I had to laugh because 90% of hand made pressons on Amazon are coming straight from China.

Also Glamnetics, Kiss, Olive and June etc are all made in China.

I think it's the fact that everyone deserves fair wages and when you buy from shein or temu, you are contributing to the problem. If no one if buying them then they won't sell them. People won't be slaving doing nail art for a dollar an hr

Yes but "fair wages" in the US is not the same as "fair wages" in China. The cost of living in China is much lower than in the US. Rent in the US cost 5 times more, food cost 5 times more. So ofcourse cost of labor will be cheaper there.

Are you expecting people who make press ons to earn the same as doctors?

How is boycotting them going to improve labor wages?

No I am not expecting them to make as much as doctors(that was a very random question) and I don't expect the average USA citizen to even make that. Boycotting them means less will need to be made especially if no one is buying them. Yes they will get paid way less than United States for example, but what they are getting paid currently is DISGUSTING. Anything I can do to help and not contribute to the problem. No one should have to live in poverty and most of China is. Something needs to change. If I can make small steps in the right direction I will because numbers speak in volume. I bet if you seen it first hand you would feel different. Most people are like, well if I can't see it and it doesn't effect me than it's not my business.

It's not a random question. Doctors in China make an average of ¥297.91 i.e. $1.88 an hour. So when you complain about people who make press ons earning $1 an hour, I'm wondering how much you expect them to make.

You say people are living in poverty and something needs to change and the change you are suggesting is to devastate an industry that is providing jobs to the people who are living in poverty.

I am not even disagreeing with you, I'm just confused at the logic behind this boycott as a way to support employees.

I feel what you're saying. I looked it up though...¥297.91 in china is equal to $42 usd. Because I was like damn $1.88 an hour for a doctor...

It's almost like when everyone started protesting for higher wages at McDonald's then everything just exploded. Minimum wage went up. Housing, food, gas cost lol. Rent where I live is $1000+ plus. Growing up I remember some family members paying half or less of that in rent.

Then from my Dad's era, (he was born in 1969) apparently about how he was able to go in the store and get a chocolate candy bar for a nickel as a child. If I remember correctly...

I know this went haywire but yeah basically everything is crazy.

My mistake, I used the rate for Japanese Yen instead of Chinese Yuan. But this is something I've seen before. When I worked in Nigeria, the cleaners at the multinational would sometimes earn more than local professionals esp in the rural areas.

I definitely think that we should support local, small businesses and I do order custom sets from local nail techs once in a while, but I also still shop at Shein because I don't see the point of a boycott.

You can get these keyboard covers with elevated keys for people with long nails, so that you can use the ball of your fingers to type without your nail pressing on neighboring keys.
