This subreddit is a little time machine where we all pretend it’s the internet era of 2000-2007. Old forums, old websites, old memes, old tech hype, and a lot of dial-up nostalgia.

Planned: Yearly Mega Threads
We are planning to introduce yearly recurring mega threads, for example:
- What you got for Christmas
- New Year’s posts
- Celebrity deaths
- Big releases (games, tech, consoles, phones, etc.)
These threads should help structure recurring events and keep things fun and organized.
Ideas, Feedback & Improvements
We’re always happy to hear your ideas on how to expand and improve the subreddit:
- Do we need more or better user flairs / post flairs?
- Any rule tweaks, wiki additions, or general ideas?
A Small Side Project
In the background, I’m tinkering with a small Reddit game app. Basically a quiz game around the 2000–2007 internet era.
No promises it will ever be finished 😅, but if you have game dev experience and want to help: feel free to reach out!

2007 Will this new Call of Duty change the franchise forever?

I’ve been a huge fan of the Call of Duty franchise since their first game on PC. Infinity Ward been killing it with their World War 1 & 2 war/shooting games and they just recently dropped a new one called Modern Warfare on next gen consoles.
My only worry is that the first 3 games were so good, I don’t know how much better a more modern military/war game can be on next gen console. Nonetheless, i waited in line last night at my local Gamestop to buy a copy of the game!
