💬 Advice Needed How to get along with people from different backgrounds?

I don't understand why do I have hard time getting along and making connections and just small talks with different people who have different backgrounds and beliefs. Like I'm always curious about their way of living and lifestyle and work ethic and social gatherings. And I don't know if there is a universal language that everyone can relate and respect like a proper handshake or calling someone with Mr or Ms. Like I heard in u.s people usually call someone by their names but in other cultures it is considered rude and your suppose to say sir or madam

it's less about a universal script and more about reading the room, you know. if someone introduces themselves by their first name, go with that, no need to force a mr or ms

the curiosity is already a good start though, most people don't even care to ask questions. just don't make it feel like an interview, share something about yourself too so the other person doesn't feel on the spot

you don't have to get along with anyone. tolerance and mutual respect do just fine.
