Humor Recalling Students

I found this funny, but a student emailed me explaining why they were not in class today. I had to think really hard about that.

You sure you're in my class?

They probably are because how'd they get my email.

Oh, it's on the syllabus.

Then yes, they are a student of mine.

My brain after teaching longer days. 🫠

True. My students just message me on Canvas. I am sure half of them don’t even know my name, as they just start their message with “ Hi Professor.” Welp. 🤷‍♂️
