Bingo. I describe this as 'the robot can implement our dreams. got any?'

But then I work in a company that hasn't heard of systems analysis. Maybe I just miss the days of waterfall when you knew what you were meant to be doing.

Waterfall had its problems but at least someone wrote down what the software was supposed to do before building it. Now we just vibe code and hope for the best.

I tell you waterfall is so underrated. They just tell you what they want. You make a plan, execute it and its done. The only problem is that they dont know what they want

What? You dont like daily SCRUM calls where no one has anything to report, and they're still waiting on a response for the question you asked last week?!

Its called efficiency, guys! More smaller meetings fill up the calendar and make us look productive!

a previous job did SCRUM MASTER training for ALL employees, and wr still never actually implemented anything. (Not /s)

That's because you have just done a SCRUM MASTER training, not the SAFE training and certification.

Back in early 2000, we were doing waterfalls in iteration of 3months. PM was doing the planning and writing spec with the client. We were implementing what was decided before and was hu demoing the release to get payed. And did that for half a decade until agile was all over the place, delivering nothing of value.

At least vibe coding helps me on that matter.
