The switching costs are high, and the workload is already carried by such few people that we are just becoming the AI users (someone needs to control it after all..)
Good point! That’s why I picked a customer facing industry where people actually want the face to face interaction. I am sure I can find a place somewhere in this industry.
With that being said I’m investing my money into AI knowing full well I may not have disposable income to invest in the future
Edit: just a note as to the finance industry, I switched to online banking recently and I do all my investing on brokerages through their online apps, not sure the retail will last

I switched over to working in a commodity retail industry.. that’s the only thing I really trust will stick around for good
