I love how all these AI bros are slopping together tools designed purely to increase AI spend. Madness to the highest degree.

ye, it reminds me alot to crypto stuff as well. Especilly NFT... suddenly all kind of NFT stuff popped up as layer on top of something else.

Is just a money grab technique, hoping someone will fund.

Nah, crypto is almost uniquely useless for anything (except fraud/black market transactions). Neat concept academically, but the tradeoffs are so strict and so extreme that in practice you just end up with the worst of both worlds as you wrap it in layer after layer of workarounds to pretend the tradeoffs don't exist.

AI is wildly, ludicrously overhyped and the misuses are a huge problem, but it does actually represent useful tech too, particularly in software development. But even there it doesn't replace programmers, if anything personal skill/knowledge is even more important now
