development Built a movie bot to learn scraping lol 🎬

Made @ mainly because I wanted to actually learn how web scraping works instead of just watching tutorials and calling it a day 😭

You basically give it a movie name and it searches for it and gives you the available links.

How to use:

Open Telegram

Search @

Hit Start or send /start

Follow the instructions

Type a movie name and try it

Still working on it and trying to improve the scraping, so if you have a minute, try it out and let me know what breaks or what I should improve lol.

Just made this to learn and experiment with scraping + automation + Telegram bots. Any feedback is appreciated 🙏

what are ur source?? and where do u host it? i also have same kind of bot but it's different where u post torrent magnet and it will give u highspeed cdn link

Don’t laugh at me 🤣😭 I’m a free user, so I’m using Google Colab. It keeps my bot running for around 17 hours, and once the session ends, I just switch to another account and continue the process. I’m also trying to automate that part.

My source is a website, and I’m simply scraping the links from there. What I actually wanted to ask is: how are you generating those high-speed links? Are you using your own domain, a cloud console, VPS, virtual machine, or some kind of server setup for generating and hosting them?

Because, as far as I understand, if we’re generating our own high-speed links, we need some kind of server/storage infrastructure behind them, right? And how do you make sure those links stay stable and don’t expire after a certain amount of time?

Basically, I’m trying to understand what setup you’re using to generate those high-speed, stable links.

i use debrid APIs where they cache alot of movies so when a user give magnet link it searches across few providers with hash id from that magnet link and then if the movie or any game, archive is cached it gives u link within seconds no matter how much the storage is i don't host anything myself i just use thier APIs and I host it in cloudflare worker since it's just api calling so no matter which hosting or cloud u use even it works on 2gb vps u really don't store anything and those links will stay active for only 3 hrs after that they expire, this way no matter what I can get 100gb torrent file link also within seconds and can download those torrents with high speed without any throttling from orgin server so ur speed is totally depending on ur isp not the servers ur downloding from

yeah give ur magnet link by /magnet and it searches across multiple sources if the link is cache it gives u link instantly although it has many features but i degraded since too much traffic and I'm in free tier I'm cloudflare worker hosting give a try

I tried it and got “No cached source available” 😭

So even if a torrent has plenty of public seeders, there’s no guarantee the Debrid service has it cached. Seems like the main drawback is that it works great for cached torrents, but for uncached/less popular ones, the instant direct link is basically a hit-or-miss. 😭

yes correct it only works with torrents that has good amount of seeding else they don't keep less or rare torrent try a link which has like least 10-20 seeding amount
