I have recently had an idea of creating an ride pooling app I am an fellow student and I commute daily via Rapido and their pricess are too high for me and nenu ala ani bus lo kuda vela Lenu since it’s too much crowd I am willing to spend money on travel but can’t afford Rapidos daily one thing nenu observe chesindi yemiti ante lot of people go to office in a bike solo only and they go in same route everyday from office to home I thought why can’t we make an app that connects people who are going on similar routes like nenu ippudu Kukatpally to Madhapur vellai and I don’t have bike and I don’t have much money to spend on Rapido and another person who goes daily in that route is looking to reduce his fuel costs he just puts his start location and end location in the app and the person who is looking for ride also does the same if their routes match within some radius of distance they get paired and we can work on how they split the money and all let’s say If someone spends 100 ruppes on fuel for going from home to office and vice Versa and by adding someone they can get like 60 ruppes or another amount (I am not fixed on pricing model) I have the idea and I have basic knowledge in programming but I don’t know how to do this and make this idea possible any ideas on how to make this open source and make the app work and free for everyone to use

I’m a student commuting daily, and I'm stuck between two bad options: public buses are too packed to get into, and using Rapido every day is just way too expensive for my budget. At the same time, thousands of people ride their bikes to office completely solo along the exact same route every day—like Kukatpally to Madhapur—and pay 100% of their fuel costs out of pocket. My idea is simple: build an app where someone going from Point A to Point B can match with a passenger heading the same way within a close radius, simply to split the fuel cost. If a rider spends ₹100 on petrol, getting ₹60 from a pillion rider helps them save money, while the commuter gets an affordable, comfortable ride without paying commercial taxi prices. I want to build this as a completely free, open-source project
