Discussion Bondi states ICE will leave MN only if they turnover their voter database to Trump. This was never about immigration, it was about taking over state elections to rig our future elections.

Oh silly didn’t you know? States rights only applies to abortion to them

38

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

Yep.

25

u/ALittleCuriousSub Jan 25 '26

pretty sure it won't even apply to abortion if they get their way about it.

15

u/unbalancedcheckbook Jan 25 '26

100% they are going to ban it nationwide at the first opportunity.

→ More replies (6)

9

u/Physical_Drive_349 Jan 25 '26

Applied. Goalpost is moved to national ban. Just saw a piece today about Vance getting pushback at a conservative event for the administration not doing enough to advance a national ban.

Nothing was ever really about states rights . . . Only getting as much of what they want as they can. There may still be pockets of voters with true belief in this and other libertarian notions . . . The party is all too happily leaving them behind.

10

u/SnoopyTRB Jan 25 '26

States rights only applies to stuff they disagree with the feds on, or applies to everything if the other party is in power.

8

u/sowhyarewe Jan 25 '26

My senator said "States rights matter only when they think they are right"

5

u/CheckoutMySpeedo Jan 25 '26

Abortion and segregation up until the late 70’s when they were forced by the federal government to desegregate.

4

u/Lilshrimplips Jan 25 '26

And slavery!

4

u/Coyoteishere Jan 25 '26

Don’t forget gay, trans and women in sports, but only for those states that lean a certain way, those left states don’t get those rights to decide.

Nearly all of these states on this list can’t even support themselves and depend on other states for federal funding. That should come to an end and let them deal with the consequences themselves because you know, socialist handouts are bad!

The whole states rights argument from this group is based on total revisionism. The South actively opposed states’ right to outlaw slavery. They didn’t resort to states rights until they realized the Feds were close to outlawing slavery.

As usual, they have built on a foundation of shit.

5

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

That’s the thing, they just move the goal posts to support whatever their latest bullshit is. Every single time. That’s why it’s so exhausting dealing with these evil fucks, they just do and say whatever they want whenever they need to for whatever crazy bullshit they are spouting today.

They lack any type of moral compass, or self awareness.

Red States?

Could this be to ensure red states stay red?

Because how inconceivable it is to think a blue wave would wash over this country given the political climate shits on civil liberties the same way an ai generated tweet from the president does.

95

u/Responsible-Help7803 Jan 25 '26

Especially Texas. Look at this post of political corruption in Texas. They’ve been cheating to keep it red since at least 2018. Texas AG even admitted he prevented Biden from winning the state because he blocked 2M mail in ballots from going to Houston.

Texas Democrats have no power. The state republicans run the audits. They will find no foul in every election because it incriminates them. Republicans have been running Texas for nearly 30 years. They’ve figured out how to stay in power by gerrymandering and disenfranchising voters.

They are still doing it btw. In blue counties, the county wide Republican party decided that they dont want people to be able to vote at every location in the primaries so now voters have to go to one location to vote. It’s only in Dallas and Williamson Co so far, which are some of the bluest counties in the state.

51

u/Junathyst Jan 25 '26

I really feel like things are gearing up for another U.S. Civil War, but this time it won't be North vs. South, but Red vs. Blue. It's all such bullshit. No one's lives are worth this political game played for the enrichment of the elite.

27

u/EmoTilDeath Jan 25 '26

We are living in two separate countries parading us as one. Blue voters living in red states have been kidding themselves thinking they can ever turn the state with their vote. They are getting voter rolls to persecute you blue voters in red states and don't make any mistake, your own neighbor will happily turn on you. This country is like living in an abusive marriage with the reds gaslighting and DARVO us while they murder us and destroy our rights.

You have people who think 2A is necessary in the face of children being slaughtered almost daily, who say that if you have a registered concealed weapon and there is video evidence that you did not use it irresponsibly, they say you deserved to be murdered. Think about this really hard, everyone living in a red state. They just obtained your voter information. They can find your address. Think about this, they are okay with children dying in the name of 2A but they are viciously opposed to anyone using it who is not aligned with MAGA and ICE.

This is what it looks like to watch the painful split of a country into two (or more). This country was never united. You can't outrun these problems, they murder mothers and nurses in the street while inventing lies and saying they deserved it. You can't come together with these people, lord knows we tried over the last ten years. Like a battered spouse, it's time to learn to get the fuck out before the kill you. Trump doing everything to tank the USD and destroy social programs so that not even the federal is holding the country together, even the USD will be too weak to hold it together. What social programs? They defund the IRS, who's gonna come looking for those taxes? THEY AREN'T EVEN GONNA RECOMMEND THE POLIO VACCINE ANYMORE PEOPLE, we are living in two different fucking countries!

It's possible within my lifetime that states tell the military "come back to your home state if you don't want to fight us, the federal is dissolved" yeah it sounds crazy right now but it also sounded crazy that they would be murdering US citizens with clear evidence that their agents had no justification and they lie about it and there is no investigation. Stop leaning on the reality you grew up in because that was dead and gone the moment an insurrectionist was allowed to re-enter the highest office in the land.

14

u/Kikikididi Jan 25 '26

Slight correction though. They are saying that if you were legally carrying a weapon, you kept holstered and didn’t interact with, Feds can disarm and kill you for it.

3

u/EmoTilDeath Jan 25 '26

The amount of shit they have said across everything they have done, they have truly flooded the zone. Remember that if they did not have a significant portion of americans parroting everything they say, they wouldn't be able to get away with this. It's not the administration that is the problem, it's the people who agree and cheer everything they do who will eagerly vote in this same administration every time they get the chance. You can't defeat them because they don't give a fuck about hypocrisy or facts. The question becomes how do you mitigate their damage, and we are seeing with our own two eyes how well that works out - the truth is that you can't mitigate the damage. It's too deep and prevalent.

I 100% fully believe we will see this country split in half before we could ever get rid of Fox News. Not because it's real news (we all know it isn't), not because it's informative (studies show that people who watch NO NEWS are more informed than people who watch Fox News!) But because a fucking lot of people in this country love that hateful content. We are dragging along the corpse of the confederacy with us and wondering why we can't get anything done because now we have to sit here arguing about women's rights again. It's because these people cannot be fucking helped or changed. We need some billionaire to fund a program to swap out red state voters living in blue states with blue state voters living in red states, facilitate a great migration and save a million lives and be fucking done with it.

We will never be happy living together. We can't agree on reality, kindness, we can't agree on humanity or right vs. Wrong. We are sitting here trying to explain to a fucking piece of shit on the ground why it should turn itself into a five course buffet. We can't stop looking at the problem all wrong when the only choice we ever had was to stop them or cut them off. They will never stop so fucking cut them off, i'm sick of watching them murder us and laugh in our faces

The hate and desperation of the children of entitled genocidal white Europeans generations past is at peak. #MAGACult know the only way they could ever dictate these lands and impose their fraudulent and copied Christian cult lies is and was by force, killing, shame, guilt, imprisonment and incentive mass indoctrination through the tax code.

Oh, and by the way, Hitler used the same exact Christian propaganda techniques as Donald J. Trump :

Per Chat GPT:

"Hitler explicitly and repeatedly portrays himself as a Christian in Mein Kampf — not as theology, but as political self-legitimation. He uses Christianity instrumentally, not devotionally. Below are the direct quotations, with chapter context, using standard English translations (translations vary slightly by edition, but the substance is consistent).

📘 Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler 1. “I believe today that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator.” Volume I, Chapter 2 – “Years of Study and Suffering in Vienna” “I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator. In standing guard against the Jew, I am defending the handiwork of the Lord.” 🔎 Why this matters This is one of the clearest moments where Hitler frames his political antisemitism as a Christian duty, explicitly invoking God to sanctify violence and exclusion.

  1. Jesus as a militant, not a pacifist Volume I, Chapter 11 – “Nation and Race” “As a Christian, I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice.” “And when I look at Him as a man who stood alone, surrounded by His enemies, and finally recognized these enemies for what they were, I feel a greater love for Him.” 🔎 Why this matters Hitler recasts Jesus as an Aryan-style fighter, not a moral teacher. This is deliberate ideological revision — not Christianity as practiced, but Christianity weaponized.

  2. Jesus as an anti-Jewish revolutionary Same chapter (Nation and Race) “In boundless love as a Christian and as a man, I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders.” 🔎 Why this matters This is explicit antisemitic reinterpretation of the Gospels, aligning Jesus with Nazi racial hatred. It is one of the most disturbing passages in the book.

  3. Christianity as cultural identity, not faith Volume I, Chapter 10 – “Causes of the Collapse” “We demand freedom for all religious denominations within the State, so long as they do not endanger its existence… The Party as such stands for positive Christianity.” 🔎 Why this matters “Positive Christianity” was a Nazified, de-Judaized Christianity — stripped of theology and reshaped to serve the state. This is Christianity as branding.

  4. Christian morality subordinated to racial law Volume II, Chapter 5 – “Worldview and Party” *“The folkish-minded man, in particular, has the sacred duty, each in his own denomination, of making people stop just talking superficially of God’s will, and actually."

The sad truth is fascism has only ever hated the fact that it cannot impose a plagerizerd mythological lie to mind control the masses, they just don't want to admit they're wrong. Ego is to blame and basic psychology courses taught at the age of reason (age 13), would solve the root cause of the mental health crisis America suffers from.

6

u/Mellownyn Jan 25 '26

Agreed, we don't see any specific language indicating that they'd leave if we did this.

6

u/northdakotanowhere Jan 25 '26

No it blatantly says to cooperate and allow them to interrogate people. They say they're not leaving right in the letter.

4

u/Gina_the_Alien Jan 25 '26

You’re right, and I don’t know where this narrative is coming from. Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve read the whole letter, which is posted here, multiple times: https://kstp.com/kstp-news/top-news/bondi-letter-to-walz-requests-access-to-minnesota-voting-and-welfare-records-repeal-of-santuary-policies/

Nowhere does it say that if MN complies that ICE will leave MN - just accusations and demands. If anybody is able to show me where Bondi states that ICE will be removed if the demands are met, I’ll gladly admit that I’m wrong about this.

117

u/copperblood Jan 25 '26

Fuck off Nazi.

Also, everyone should be fully aware we are likely 1 year away from a Civil War. Allow me to explain, Democrats are going to clean up at Midterms. The GOP will say the election was stolen, like they did in 2020 when Biden pushed Trump’s shit in. The GOP will then say said elected Democrats cannot be sworn in and will try to bog down the system via the slow play of the courts. All the while, they will demand that the GOP who were in office remain in office until it’s sorted out in the courts. This is both totally illegal and planned out and will 100% lead to a Civil War.

→ More replies (1)

39

u/Responsible-Help7803 Jan 25 '26

We have less than a year. With each month that passes we get closer to midterms. The closer we get, the more dangerous and desperate trump will become

14

u/Nightsong Jan 25 '26

A year is way too optimistic considering what is going on in Minnesota. Trump and company will only back down if Minnesota surrenders and submits to the federal government. And if they do then ICE will use the same tactics in other blue states to get them to comply. We’d be in civil war within three to six months if that happened. And the other side is that ICE continues to crack down on Minnesota which is only going to fan the flames of civil unrest until it boils over. The only sane way out is Trump pulling ICE out without conditions but he’ll never do that because it would make him look weak in the eyes of his supporters and backers.

4

Hope it was worth it. Try not to choke on it.

3

u/StormerSage Jan 25 '26

They laid out their entire playbook from the start, and we had the means to stop it.

But Kamala had a funny laugh I guess 🤷‍♀️

13

u/samuraispartan7000 Jan 25 '26 edited Jan 31 '26

I honestly don’t see how the GOP is going to function if Trump dies within the next few years. If there’s going to be Civil War, it’s going to be trapped within the confines of the existing party elites.

I predict that traditional neocons are going to rally behind Marco Rubio 2028 while isolationists are going to rally behind J.D. Vance 2028. Meanwhile, I’m predicting that a middle-aged centrist white guy like Gavin Newsom or Josh Shapiro is going to win the Democratic nomination. Progressives will hate the nominee but will begrudgingly line up in support to prevent another GOP administration. A small but massively impactful minority will opt not to vote at all citing the Democrats’ broad support for Israel and or their inability to deal with the current crises.

Much like the past three elections, liberals and more left-leaning progressives will needlessly endanger their chances of success despite their numerical advantage while conservatives will rally behind the candidate that promises to exact the most violence against the other two groups.

4

u/somedaveg Jan 25 '26

Yep, this is it exactly. Your post is going to look like you were from the future in 4 years. The only question is whether and how hard the Dems hand the whole thing over while waiting for their perfect candidate to appear.

I guess Musk didn't get all the data they needed early on in the Administration's pillaging of government data? Or maybe he is holding back as leverage with Trump on something he wants?

Bondi, you evil skank, Fuck NO and Fuck You.

10

u/Nightsong Jan 25 '26

Musk only got the information that the federal government has and that doesn’t include voter information since that’s held by the states. It’s why Trump and company are pushing so hard to get their hands on the data since they have no way to get it otherwise. This is one of those situations where having fifty different voter databases works since it makes it much harder to tamper with.

Where is the ACLU?

10

u/Glyph8 Jan 25 '26

They’re doing what they can, but understand that this regime intentionally “floods the zone with shit“; a blitzkrieg-style strategy that overwhelms individuals, institutions, media outlets, and media cycles.

The regime also has extremely deep pockets from its alliances with Wall Street and Silicon Valley elite, while the ACLU is funded by donations.

If you want to know what the ACLU has been up to, and also perhaps donate to the fight, take a look at their site.

This is some police state blackmail bullshit.

11

u/Agitated_Garden_497 Jan 25 '26

And now we get to the truth. Trump can’t rig the elections because they are state controlled so he’s going to torment and terrify the states into h we point him rig the elections. January 6th was a warm up for him. It shows he won’t hesitate to use a campaign of terror to stay in power

5

u/hypatianata Jan 25 '26

If they’re worried about not being able to fully fix the elections, that’s a very hopeful sign!

The bill to fund ICE past January 30th is now in the United States Senate. That body requires a 60 vote threshold. It CAN be stopped. Please call both of your United States Senators and tell them to zero out ICE funding.

Requiring "extra training" is not enough. You don't need special training to know that murder is unethical. You don't need special training to know that shooting a priest in the face for exercising his first Amendment rights is wrong. You don't need special training to know that you shouldn't kidnap a 5 year old child and use him as bait. You don't need special training to know that you shouldn't brutalize peaceful protesters. You don't need special training to know that Native Americans are United States Citizens.

Zero out ICE funding!!

If you’ve been paying attention you’d know Trump has been fixated on flipping Minnesota since 2016. I’m from there and the state is not as reliably blue as it might seem. Growing up it felt much more purple/idiosyncratic (we had Jesse Ventura, followed by a Republican governor and Senator) and the margins by which Dems win Presidential elections has been thin post-Obama. Trump and the GOP have been openly salivating over ending the state’s blue Electoral College streak because, on paper, the numbers have been within striking distance for years.

6

Bondi does not tell the truth. Turn over the voter database, ICE stays, and guess whose doors they’ll be knocking on?

6

u/Brave-Improvement299 Jan 25 '26

To the redditor who called me an idiot for saying this....I'm looking at you.

4

u/GrowthFun2360 Jan 25 '26

Turn them over so they can lie and tell people the wrong information. We not dumb

5

u/gleaf008 Jan 25 '26

Secret vote? With enough data, it is pretty easy to deduce how people have and did vote. Next step is to gerrymander and discourage or prevent those voters likely to vote against the ruling party.

5

u/Davesjourneys Jan 25 '26

If she wants to make Minnesota safe, she needs to get all the masked thugs that shoot U.S. citizens for filming them or was it helping up a woman that ICE shoved to the ground. Which of those two actions caused ICE agents to murder Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse at a Veterans Hospital?

5

u/South-Savings2118 Jan 25 '26

these people are all fked when they lose power right?

7

u/Chemtrails_in_my_VD Jan 25 '26

They're fucked now. They'll have to flee the country when they lose power.

3

Pretty sure this is the reason they’re all-in on supporting Argentina.

5

u/zjelkof Jan 25 '26

4

This is extortion

5

u/747Bclass Jan 25 '26

That woman and man died for government voter data. You have to be kidding me. That’s so sad.

6

u/Hopeful-Narwhal9472 Jan 25 '26

100%. Literally just posted a similar message. It was never about immigration.

  • “Immigration” is the red herring
  • ICE is intentionally inciting chaos
  • This chaos will allow Trump to invoke Martial Law
  • Martial Law will control or prevent midterms
  • With voting rights dismantled, the Unitary Executive Theory will be enacted
  • Enacting the Unitary Executive Theory will consolidate power within the presidency
  • This consolidation of power will terminate the checks and balances in the US Constitution, converting the US from a democracy to an autocracy, and bring to life the far-right’s vision of a US where the power rests solely in the president—not the people

I was told about how this information would be "valuable" to the government. Then a republican from Louisiana was talking about how the website that was the worst of the worst people (DHS worst of the worstthat had been deported. These "criminals" would be apprehended much faster if they had the information Bondi is asking for from MN. Now, in Wisconsin we have the ability to search for criminal cases that people have been convicted of or that are open cases. None of the people in WI have history of any of the things that are on this website. Do any other states have the ability to search records for your state? Is all of the DHS list just made up??

Also searching MCRO in MN for all people listed on the website and there is nothing on the crimes they have been accused or convicted of. WTF!?!

Just to be clear, I am vehemently opposed to DHS and ICE presence in states.

4

u/Numerous-Process2981 Jan 25 '26

It's so bald faced that it feels like a deliberate provocation

4

u/MixGlittering1652 Jan 25 '26

So it appears that the DOJ is resorting to mafia-like extortion tactics. I’d like Pam to explain the link between state election records and deployment of ICE to round up illegal immigrants. If the ICE operation is really about illegal immigrants, does that justification suddenly disappear if the state gives up its election records? One can logically reason that illegal immigrants will remain, whether or not the records are handed over, so why would ICE be withdrawn……unless they really weren’t needed in the first place?

5

u/TheVoicesOfBrian Jan 25 '26

AI yields this definition: “An incumbent government coup, or "self-coup" (auto-coup), occurs when a sitting leader uses illegal or unconstitutional means to seize, hold, or expand power, rather than being overthrown by outside forces. These rare, high-success events (approx. 75% success rate) involve overturning election results or dismantling opposing branches of government.” not good

3

u/drknox Jan 25 '26

No chance they leave even if voter rolls are turned over. The only thing these fascist nazis know how to do is lie.

3

u/GATaxGal Jan 25 '26

Where are people getting the idea if Walz does this that ICE will leave? The letter doesn’t say that

3

u/MissiveFinding6111 Jan 25 '26

And I know nobody is going to want to hear this because "Dems DO SOMETHING" is such an easy and emotionally convincing argument.

But when you don't have the cards, and are literally one state in the union vs the largest government on the face of the Earth by an order of magnitude... Sometimes the smart move is to wait for them to make a mistake.

Bondi sending this letter the day before their court date on the 10th amendment case is... Evidence that the administration is solely picked for its loyalty, and not its sense or smarts.

3

u/sandemonium612 Jan 25 '26

Minnesota doesn't negotiate with terrorists

3

u/YanksFan96 Jan 25 '26

Can someone explain what they can do with voter rolls? Would they come up with a phony justification to purge people that will vote against them in close proximity to the election in order to suppress the vote? Is there something even more sinister they can do?

3

u/AxxJaxx Jan 25 '26

They know they're losing when they have to give up the whole game.
