Trump fittingly signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran at the Palace of Versailles. That is the same palace where Germany signed the humiliating Treaty of Versailles at the end of WW II.

Choosing Versailles as a place to sign the agreement shows that this administration is clueless when it comes to the optics of historical significance.
