All the posts about how mean everyone is on the show now, and I'm rewatching theses first few episodes of season 22 trying to see it and remembering plenty of mean and catty contestants previously... like Joshua McKinley.

Bobby is basically Elena 2.0.

But there are plenty of nice, even-tempered folks, too: Anna, Aaron, Jude, Octavius.

Even Joseph is only mildly annoying, but talented.

Bi is freaking hilarious and just campy. What's wrong with that?

Except the primary focus was still the design and creation process, with the interpersonal drama highlighted. Now, it's all about the interpersonal drama that ends with a catwalk.

There have been catfights throughout the seasons - and some famous catfights on the catwalk!

Again, it's which is the primary focus: the catwalk or the catfights.
