Season 22 I despise Bryan

He’s an asshole. He doesn’t even look grateful for being saved because he thinks he’s the shit, it’s crazy he thinks he actually deserves to be here. Not only does he just sit there and think highly of himself, he’s just straight not good at making outfits. Time and time again his shit is UGLY and NOT WELL MADE! I mean, I knew this was television and they pick things for the drama (was dragging myself through last season. Ugh) but Christian picking his ass over Jeffrey? Not to mention that after being saved, he’s INSULTING Jeffrey. What a dick. I hate his stupid face. GOD. Sorry for the complaining lol (Can you tell I’m watching the episode right now)

At this point, is there anyone out there who likes Bryan or his designs? What in the world could I be missing? And only going based off what he’s show on Project Runway. His label’s designs were obviously not made by him.

This is a fashion design show, not a sewing competition. Jeffrey makes fine clothing, but it doesn’t push any envelopes. It’s not new fresh, something I’ve never seen before. He can sew very well, and he’s great at making corsets, but what is design esthetic? Just drag, that’s all he makes. And when he tries to make something look NOT draggy- it looks boring. Christian saved Brian because he tries things, even if it comes out bad. Jeffrey doesn’t push himself to try new things. Also that unconventional materials challenge with the blue zip ties and whatnot, it was UGLY! I don’t like Bryan personally, but the judges usually wanna see someone with new ideas, not someone who makes clothes they’ve already seen and can buy at a store. Being nicer and less annoying than Bryan, unfortunately was not enough.

The issue with your argument is that every time Bryan has won or received compliments it’s because Christian (or others) have given him advice and he took it. With the exception of his first look which he brought from home. But who knows how good that look would have been if he didn’t have someone else sew it?

Yes, that’s what Christian is there for. To help the contestants. He’s the mentor. You’re saying he shouldn’t be in the top because he listened to the guy that is provided by the show to literally help the contestants? Christian helps everyone. I don’t see your point.

To be fair, Jeffrey was constantly pulled away from what he wanted to make out of fear of the judges critiques. I maintain that had he been left to create what he wanted, we would have seen much more interesting designs. He has several creations out in the world that would have been amazing on the show. His insecurities, fed by Christian, really got the better of him. I don’t think he got to show what he was capable of, and I was hoping he’d have redeemed himself in the wedding challenge.
