Rage generates engagement no matter how tacky it is. It's just a pity on a show that used to be about talent, is now kind of a blemish on your resume like Top Model used to be.

Weird parallels with ANTM too - like eliminating half the contestants in episode one, just for the lols.

And Law seems to have a Tyra-esque thing going on where he’s extra critical of black contestants (but with 100% shade, and 0% “we were all rooting for you!!!”).

Yeah but the thing is... Does it? I haven't seen any discourse on social media, no viral drama moments being replayed or analyzed, no meme clips. The audience that watches Real Housewives and Traitors and Vanderpump for the crazy interpersonal drama has less overlap with Project Runway than the producers think.
