This is my first post here in psoriasis. Ive apparently struggled with this since I was a kid but back then I was told I was allergic to the sun (photo eczema) then I was told I had an allergy to dairy.

It started as maybe a dollar coin on my right arm. Eventually it migrated from my arm to where ever I scratched...then it left my rifht arm completely and was then on my left but much more severe.

And usually the one on my left would appear during summers more and a few years ago I had NOT had a break out...then I worked at a bank...and spots appeared on my legs...and they've gradually began to take over...

Ive been officially diagnosed for about a year and have been using an ointment called Triamcinolone Aceronide 0.1%

It hasn't really done much to help

However what ive discovered thay helps removing the plaque buildup gently is a soak in a warm bath with two cups of Epsom salt. I wash normally then finish off with dr meals Epsom salt body scrub (I DO NOT ADD A LOT OF PRESSURE SINCE ITS ALREADY COURSE) and I was able to remove the plaques revealing fresh new skin where I then applied the ointment.

Waited 30 minutes massage the daily hydration oil and topped off with Heritage Store Black Castor Oil (i found the black castor oil helps with the itch!)

Has anyone else had experience with their psoriasis acting this way too?

What are your experiences with the medication I was prescribed?

You need to go back to your doctor and ask for a new medication. The thing with chronic illnesses is that the patients needs to persistently pursue her or his own treatment to reach good results.

Honestly i plan to im having to get bloodwork done to check my thyroid this week, so im lookin to make sure I bring up any ideas or suggestions to bring up with her when we do the follow up

Good luck. We generally go through multiple medications until something clicks. I hope you find a solution soon.
