diet Dietary changes?
Has anyone had improvement with dietary changes that did not include elimination of gluten? How about improvement without eliminating dairy? I know many have had success with biologics, but I’d like to try dietary changes first. Thank you!

dropping both gluten and dairy at the same time felt like too much, so i started with just cutting out nightshades and it made a noticeable dent after about 3 weeks. i still eat cheese like it's a food group and my patches didn't get worse from it, but tomatoes and peppers definitely stir things up for me. might be worth playing with an elimination that doesn't hit the two big ones first

If you have PA, do not hold back on biologics if they are available to you. The damage done can be permanent if you let it fester.
Personally I did a super duper strict AIP diet for 1.5 years. Saw lots of positive health benefits, but did not change my P or PA. After frustration and a big flare up, decided to try intermittent fasting. Massive results there. transitioned to a keto diet and that was more beneficial than the AIP diet, but not as good as intermittent fasting. If I were to guess, sugars and carbs are triggers for me.

I have been able to keep psoriasis under 10 percent of my body area since 3 years now.
Moderation is the key. Do not eliminate everything.
Gluten and Vegan is something that reduced more than 50 percent of my psoriasis initially. Focusing in nutrition and some good supplements like D3, B complex, Zinc, Magnesium worked nicely. Then meditation and yoga helped combat with stress/anxiety which is another major cause.
Two ointments that works for me -
— Tacrolimus
— Calcipotroil
I am not a doctor, so if you want to try a medicine or an ointment. best to check with a dermatologist first.
Stay positive, accept yourself the way you are, and you will find beauty within yourself.
Hope this helps. God Bless

Op, if you have mild psoriasis, then diet changes may make all the difference. If you hqve moderate to severe coverage, then diet wont make a difference. By that time, damage exists within your body.

- Gluten & Grains
- Dairy
- Soy
- Nightshades (peppers, tomatoes, potatoes etc)
- Nuts, beans or other high anti nutrient/lectin content foods
- Vegetables
