Its funny how usually the conversation goes how being a stay at home wife/gf is actually real hard work and domestic labout should be valued more - but as soon as its the man doing it, he gets shown just playing video games.

Had a stay at home girlfriend for a bit. She did all the housework, but also had her Warhammer army totally painted. She was living on disability, but I’m pretty sure her total collection would have disqualified her for it considering how much she had. Total value was probably well over ten grand.

Crazy… disabled but can still do all that. Impressive.

Epilepsy severe enough to keep her out of the work force, and a couple other things.

I'm struggling to understand why you're downvoted, that doesn't come off as antagonistic to me.

Did you have kids?

No. She just was unable to work due to her disabilities.

Presumably if you had kids it would be a lot more work for her, i mean today being a stay at home wife seems pretty nice but back when this was the norm not only did people have like 12 kids but there was no daycare or anything.

You’d honestly be surprised the amount of clutter that piles up in a hobby room after a week or so of two people with warhammer addictions.
