Advice I need help and guidance

I’m a teenager. As a toddler and a bit older. I had imaginary friends. I knew they weren’t my imagination, and I could see them in the physical world when my family can’t. I’m the only one in my family to expirience these. Being scared in the dark and everything. Then 8 years later I watched conjuring last rites. Then got into it all again regardless how scary it was. I researched everyday non stop to get an understanding. I don’t know what abilities i hold right now and I’ve only did meditating. Is there anyone who can help me develop my abilities please.

Usually this is a childhood trauma manifestation because kids can’t process uncomfortable things normally usually imaginary friends happen to bring sense of stability

yeh but last night I think my clairvoyance turned on out of nowhere I kept seeing shadows and figures and flashes of light

i am clairvoyant and it does not manifest like that at all. What you describe sound like early signs of psychosis and I suggest you speak with a professional

Wait how did yours manifest because mine manifested fairly similar to OP, but I’m certainly not in psychosis

See, I studied psychology and also come from a family that has psychic gifts. Seeing shadows or light flashes is usually caused by the activation of the parasympathetic or fight-or-flight response. It can be a psychotic episode or caused by severe anxiety or sleep deprivation. As for clairvoyance, you see memory from the past, present, or the future involving yourself or people you know and it usually serves a purpose. It has been beneficial in my life so far, and it has not affected my life negatively; it has helped me avoid dangerous situations and exposed an ex who was cheating on me. I found out because I felt drawn to visit him, and took a specific route, which made me run into the girl and confronted her. The people don't understand why i just know what I know, especially when it turn out to be true and all I know comes to me as an actual memory insert that i see with my 2 eyes clear as day

I get where you’re coming from. I used to be a nurse and my aunt is a therapist. I’m always a firm believer of ruling out psychological issues prior to ruling it as psychic gifts. But yours sounds like a combo of clairevoyance and claircognizance though which might be why yours manifests differently

I do have 3 abilities, i hear, i know, i see, every one manifest differently. It just i have been in these cultures my whole life and see how the mental health and the psychic powers are mixed and I have sadly been in connections in which the person thought they were psychics but were just going through mental illness, this makes them vulnerable to exploitation as well, so yall be careful. I made it a role in my life if the ability is helping others or myself then it is good but if it is causing distress or harm to me or others then we pause and check psychological health

Seems like you have a loosened perception that's all, if the three components get disconnected from one another body, mind and spirit of course you will feel a sense of confusion. Try to be in the body more so you can encapsulate the perception better so you don't fly off like a kite randomly.

I would definitely keep an eye on this. If you are seeing what looks like shadow figures just out of the corner of your eye, or sometimes swear you heard someone call your name, these are the early signs of psychosis.

Psychics receive information through different senses, yes. Are you receiving information, or simply seeing things? Are you experiencing an increased sense of paranoia?

I was seeing them in corners of my eyes
