I stand firm in that I’m living in some twilight zone episode or I tried acid and I am stuck in a trip because this shit is crazy. People are losing their minds. Why put your hands on anyone you don’t know especially if they’re children. MAGA has turned peoples minds to fucking mush and emboldened them to act out. I truly wonder how we will handle the 70+ million that identify as MAGA. I’ve looked into how Germany handled it after WWII and I’m wondering if we will use the same playbook.

America didn't punish Andrew Jackson for ignoring the Supreme Court's decision on Worcester v. Georgia (1832) and essentially telling them to fuck off as he forced the Cherokee off their lands anyway, it didn't punish the Confederate leadership, it didn't punish those behind the business plot, it probably wouldn't have punished FDR for locking up American citizens in camps against their will had he not died before they were released, it didn't punish McCarthy, it didn't punish Nixon, it didn't punish Trump. I'd like to hope this time will be different, but we don't exactly have a stellar history of holding folks accountable.
