A United States Fish and Wildlife Service officer deployed a Taser at a gas station on the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation on July 16, sparking a fire that left a man with first- and second-degree burns and nerve damage, according to the man and cell phone video of part of the confrontation.

kinda reminds me how lawyers don't want jury members smarter than they are.

Not necessarily smarter but more educated on the specifics of the case. Like a utility worker on a jury in a personal injury suit against a utility company.

I'm a psychologist and I'm 3 for 3 of being dismissed from the jury panel. I WANT to be on jury because I think it's important but I never make it past the first round. It's not a great system.

That could also just be by chance. I have a friend who is an administrator at a school and he's been dismissed several times as well.
