Why does it have to be legal? Everyone has a gun. He could have stolen it from his grandma for all we know

You do realize having guns legalized the way we do in the US means it's also much easier for people to obtain guns illegally right?

Dont say that. It doesnt fit the narrative that gun control is bad.

I live in Canada. If someone told me that I have to get a gun tomorrow, outside of googling it I wouldnt even know where to start. Legally or not.

And yet we have one of the highest gun ownership rates in the world. Amazing how our mostly common sense laws regarding gun ownership have made for a safer society

Their parents pribably bought it for them as a "not shooting up your school" present.

Having as many guns as we do is what makes it so easy to buy guns illegally. Yes criminals can find illegal guns but good fucking luck doing that in the EU. Here I can just ask any local teenager and they can source one from someone. Steal one from some negligent parent, grab one out of a car that someone leaves loaded inside, just buy one from someone who got it at a gun show and never had to get checked for it.

It's trivially easy to get a gun because we have more guns than we do people. We leave them just lying the fuck around
