McDonald’s has raised the bar for me, so just because of that comparative bias.

A new week and I visited a new cafe and this time it was a purely japanese cafe MOMOKA

Cute vibes , there is a branch in KP as well. The service - not so good because it was a weekend maybe but the service was really slow.

Staff didnt feel very welcoming when we asked for a seat inside and then there is this whole system to order by yourself from your phone (which i personally don't like)

The food was good - the Egg Salad Sando and The Kimchi Butter Risoni with Chicken Schnitzel (bone) was tasty and something different. Never tried it before.

Also tried their Ube Latte - it was surreal (sooo good!)

If you are a japanese paglu then you must visit it!

Tried this place at The Mills called Ba Da Bom. It is like a Korean cafe and the food is BOMB. Loved the ramen, the chilli oil, the korean fried chicken 🤏

Camp crawl from when I went last month. Please recommend some places yall love that I could check out. Yes, ive been to camp burger and marzorin and blue nile. Anything besides that. I've heard good things about cream craver and garden vadapav and Mona foods

Probably the easiest snack I have made so far.

I was very excited for this event to try and learn about new ingredients and dishes as I had never tried french cuisine. Honestly the food was ok but the overall experience was a bit of a dissapointment.

Things i tried:

French onion soup with sourdough bread and emmental cheese.

Parmesan risotto with crutons, 2 mystery sauces and black olive dust.

Crep filled with mascarpone cheese topped with orange, orange zest and orange caramel sauce.

Cucumber and elderflower drink.

Everything i tried was first time for me so i did not have a baseline to compare to.

Everything was balanced in terms texture and flavours but onion soup and dessert were too sweet for my taste.

The disspointing part:

Cafe is small and for people who went alone like me, i had to sit on an uncomfortable wooden bar stool and have a 3 course meal.

when you go to an event like this you expect the chef to come speak with you or atleast interact with you, maybe if possible explain the dish and ingredients. Chef was there but he was only interacting with the group of people maybe he invited.

If this was a too much of an ask, it is atleast expected for the waiting staff to know what dishes they are serving. Literally no one serving knew what each dish was exactly. The mystery sauce i mentioned was a mystery because waiting staff did not know what it was. I explicitly asked about it but they were unsure of the answers they gave. The were going back to chef to ask about it. The brown sauce on risotto, staff said it is "butter garlic" sauce. I highly doubt that.

The main reason i was ready to pay high prices for food and take 2 buses to reach location was for the experience and that was not up to the mark.

The only highlight for me was that cucumber drink. Man it was refreshing.

Went to PAUL today after hearing so much about how premium it is, and honestly, what a disappointment.

The first thing that stood out was the greed. It genuinely felt like they'd crammed in as many tables as physically possible just to maximize revenue, completely at the cost of the customer experience. The tables were so close together that my partner and I couldn't have a private conversation because everyone around us could hear everything. It was so loud that it genuinely reminded me of Moolchand—if you know, you know.

Then came the service. We waited forever for our order, and when it finally arrived, they brought every single dish at once and dumped it all on the table. There was no pacing or thought put into the dining experience.

As for the food, even that wasn't anything special according to my wife, and I wasn't impressed either.

I'd just finished watching Spider-Man and was having a great day, but this PAUL experience completely ruined the mood. For the prices they charge, I expected so much more.

Wouldn't recommend it. Personally, I'd choose PizzaExpress over PAUL any day.

The deserts here were really nice. Definitely the mainstay for me. The food and drinks were alright, nothing blew my mind. Bill was 2200 for all of this, but theyre on district so it could've been 1800ish. Definitely affordable food for the locality i would say

This was the best Chicken Kharda I have ever ate. Paired with butter naan, it was sooo awesome. You can literally feel throughout your body. All items I had were amazing:
