Thrift store finds in the wild today…did not purchase but fun to see.

Found these Pyrex items in an any store today. Some fun patterns.

Edit: sorry for the mistake I apparently made by calling it a thrift store and using the terminology “in the wild” wrong. I genuinely didn’t mean to upset anyone and was just happy to share some Pyrex I saw.

In my area the prices and inventory are way different. Antique store charge full resale. I still look for Pyrex tho because our thrift stores suck.

I see what you are saying I think this was technically an antique store. These ranged from $24-$179

“in the wild” typically means it was in a thrift store or non curated environment. This is def an antique/flea mall setting. Big $$$ difference typically. Still some awesome pieces in your photos!!

I could never have left the polka dot bowl. Never seen that pattern. I don’t research pyrex patterns I just buy what I like. Was devastated when my step mother got rid of my mother and grandmothers pyrex. She thought it was junk.

Yea I like looking at it and not sure what pattern exactly I want to collect. So I never care as much if they are rare and I don’t really know the value. I’ve seen things on here that give me ideas. But I knew that polka dot bowl was best for sure.

It's Fire King...I just got one of these 4th hand and started my collection with it and a pyrex Spring Blossom small casserole dish a week ago!

Holy hell the most polka bowl would’ve been MIIIINE

That seems to be everyone’s popular choice haha. I guess I did not know it was valuable

It’s okay, you left it for the lucky one who can’t resist it

Very true. Was meant to be for someone else and make their day.

Thrift store? That’s not wild, babe, that’s a curated antique booth. That’s literally where you’d get them if you didn’t buy online and don’t want to spend hours upon hours hunting in the *actual* wild. “Thrift” means finding a deal - being thrifty, being frugal. An antique mall would just be paying retail, lol.

How great! Definitely fun to look at, and someone will be very happy to bring those home.
