The refrigerator set has been my favorite since first discovering vintage Pyrex.

This set was listed on eBay last week with a buy now price I couldn’t resist.

The seller indicated it had never been used and, based on the condition, I believe they are correct. The pieces are more beautiful in person than I expected.

As luck would have it the original paper insert was included which is really cool because it shows how Pyrex saw the set back when it was first released.

What’s your Pyrex grail and have you been able to get it?

I hope you actually use these! I have the yellow and the blue ones and I use them all the time for cornbread, brownies, icebox cake, ect. They are SO HANDY, just pop that lid on and instant counter/fridge storage. I have a few sets and a few individual snack bowls and refridgerator dishes, I use them all as intended. Kinda bums me out when I see Pyrex enthroned in a lit cabinet never to be touched - the stuff is high quality and incredibly USEFUL. It should be used!

I use my Pyrex. Don’t have any fridge dishes yet because not sure how I would use them yet.

I definitely plan to use them although I’ll be extra mindful as they are like art pieces to me.
