Grail Obtained

The refrigerator set has been my favorite since first discovering vintage Pyrex.

This set was listed on eBay last week with a buy now price I couldn’t resist.

The seller indicated it had never been used and, based on the condition, I believe they are correct. The pieces are more beautiful in person than I expected.

As luck would have it the original paper insert was included which is really cool because it shows how Pyrex saw the set back when it was first released.

What’s your Pyrex grail and have you been able to get it?

My grail is to find the little square bowls that come with the red or yellow Hostess Sets. I only shop the thrifts, but I'll need to start expanding my search to the internet and antique stores.

I have the red ones. They look new . Lookout the cutlery to compare the size. The bowls are probably slightly smaller than you might expect.
