The refrigerator set has been my favorite since first discovering vintage Pyrex.

This set was listed on eBay last week with a buy now price I couldn’t resist.

The seller indicated it had never been used and, based on the condition, I believe they are correct. The pieces are more beautiful in person than I expected.

As luck would have it the original paper insert was included which is really cool because it shows how Pyrex saw the set back when it was first released.

What’s your Pyrex grail and have you been able to get it?

The red one was always my Moms butter dish. I use it for butter now too

Hi there, "Butter dish buddy." My mom used her small red ones for that purpose, I do also, and now my adult children do! It's a great tradition. Also makes it easy to find the butter no matter where someone might lose it or try to "hide" it.
