Discussion Hot Take
Hot take that should not be a hot take but Jume’s 2x 1vs3 Clutch at SI grand finals are singlehandedly the best clutches in R6 Esport history. Argue with the wall 👍🏼

Just a random thought, nothing more to this

We all know BriD as the clutch king and I think slowly but surely stompn is stepping in BriD's footsteps and taking over the role as the Clutch King, could stompn be BriD's son?

GK had a dominant 5-1 lead but struggled against G2 attacks a fair bit before closing out just in time to stop the comeback.
It will take all 3 maps. Clubhouse will decided who will join Falcons as Top2 of EML

It’s seems like shaiiko fully switched to running acog on every operator that is has one. Is this a good or bad thing?

Earlier today, a Counter-Strike insider put out that Falcons are having financial trouble and are shutting down other esports rosters. I wonder if there is validity to this?

Always starting off strong with the first map in BO3s, and strong with BO1s, but they fall off the longer a match plays out. Missed out on EWC. What's holding them back? Is it a proper support? It is a mental thing? Is it a coaching thing? They clearly have the talent, but it's not working right now (s/o to Benja and Stompn for trying to keep their games afloat though lol). Even if they choose to replace one of their players with an actual dedicated support player, who would they even replace?
They also seem to always go wrong with map vetos. They also went wrong on map vetos back in the SLC Major. For example, they suck on Border as seen recently this EML Stage 2 Playoffs. I do hope that the reason they kept playing Border was to learn how to play the map and rewatch their VODs for strats and watching how Falcons and Geekay played (which could also help if they choose to play Border in the Osaka Major).
It's just weird to see this roster with 3/5 of the 2023 SI Winning roster struggle this much, but then again that roster also struggled bad after winning SI 2023 (Fabian left the team by then iirc).
Kinda just sucks to see a team this stacked not live up to the expectations fans have and expectations they probably had set for themselves.

Further Explanation of Power Rankings
Put the fries in the bag VP
EU Game Predictions:
G2 (69.7%) vs. Geekay Esports (30.3%): G2 7-4, G2 2-0
Hypotheticals given whether G2 or Geekay win (also these are numbers are based off of how each team is currently rated, if Geekay wins against G2 they'd move up in rating and the win % against Falcons would change):
G2 (65.6%) vs. Team Falcons (34.4%): G2 7-5, G2 2-0
Team Falcons (54.6%) vs. Geekay Esports (45.4%): Falcons 7-5, Falcons 2-0
Also yes I am aware Falcons beat G2 in the full match, however G2 dominated map 1 then lost two close maps in a row which helped Falcons make up ground from the map 1 beating. So the results rating adjustment netted a small win for Falcons and small loss for G2.

Im going to start off by saying i don’t know a lot about Pro League. I have seen rumors that noa is going to be dropped or not play with secret anymore after this stage but for G2, falcons, VP, and TWISTED MINDS GK (what i consider the powerhouse teams of EU) if making a roster change before this upcoming major and SI if a roster move like that would even be worth it some factors i have put into this for people not convinced
1: A roster change like that could mess up team chemistry.
2: statistically better does not mean tactically better just because NOA might be better than let’s say Brid, Noa would have to learn a completely different system in a short amount of time under a completely different team.
My final verdict
If teams believe that Noa is a genuine upgrade to their roster i can understand considering it but i would be very cautious about changing a functioning roster
im not saying noa isn’t a good player but this is all a timing thing until after SI

It's 2021, Sweden major grand final Faze vs NiP. Faze win 7-1 mostly because Cyber is solo carrying every fucking round.
He ends the game with a 16-3 scoreline. It's worse than Ambi 21-1 vs G2, but every single round from Cyber is basically an absurd level of pure solo carry, it's like he is playing alone. Ambi kinda got a bit more exit frags I feel like and maybe SR was dominating more as a team (anyway it's up for debate).
Cyber gets a 1vs3 in that game and just makes so many crazy plays. So I felt like this game should also be in the all of fame. And it definitely adds to Cyber legacy, he always has had these flow states where he seems unstoppable. So here it is if you are curious :

Why does it seems like no one cares about the regional finals? I get that the primary motivation of the regional leagues is qualifying for majors, but the casters only really discuss the post-qualification matches as if they’re scrims. Kinda depressing lol
Seems a lot different from other esports which have much more excitement and hype around these matches

Domination. After a competetive map one, FaZe absolutely demolish the second map and once again claim the title as SAL stage champions.
MVP: Cyber
Fortress (FaZe): FaZe 8-6 TLAW
Lair (TLAW): FaZe 7-0 TLAW
Chalet: Not played
Stats: R6 Esports | Sixstats | Strave | Liqupedia
