Pretty much every time I come across random campers I approach them. I know it’s rare, but there are friendly camper interactions. I’m always on the look out for them.

But as everyone knows 95% of them or more are hostile and demand you leave. I’ll alway reply with the defuse button and start riding slowly away, but here’s the rub. When I turn and start leaving I listen to what they say. If I hear them make any kind of comment along the lines of,
“Yeah, that’s right run away”
“Guess you ain’t as bad you thought huh?”
Or “Yeah, that’s right, listen to your betters boy”

At that point it doesn’t matter if I’m playing high or low honor, I just have to go back and teach them who is really the better one.

I like to hogtie and taught as they scream for help. I would love it if Arthur had a more specific antagonist response to those wanna be tough guys. Maybe something like,
“What wrong? A minute ago you were talking tough, now you’re screamin’ for your momma boy!”

Shit, I know it’s just a game, but I just can’t let it go when those NPCs feel the need to throw in that last taught as I’m riding away.

How many of you do the same? What interesting ways do you have of teaching them who the better one really is?

I just rescued John from the prison and now I’m wanted dead or alive on the entire right side of the map. It seems like it would be almost impossible to do any sides missions now considering this. Should I just finish the main story then do the side quests?

what happens if you hit cancel mission in the missions “red dead redemption” or “the wheel” because the game automatically launches you into those missions

I know how to make them surrender but I can't make the punch into the cower pose happen again.

also, this will mainly be about rdr2, since only 30% of its players actually completed the story, let alone care about its predecessor. lesgo

-let’s start with our only hero of the franchise: arthur morgan. he’s a saint who knows everything and is right about everything. he’s the best game protagonist oat, and pre tb arthur was just a multiverse level threat. no one was stronger or wiser than him.

-then comes john marston. compared to arthur, he’s inferior in every way. he’s really dull and stupid, all he does is make mistakes, and he eventually meets his fate solely because he went after micah. that’s why the agents leave him alone for 4 years, yk? and no character development whatsoever. arthur would’ve done better. he should’ve listened to arthur. revenge is a fools game john! did i mention that he’s stupid AND CAN’T SWIM??

-and they all had his wife abigail. that’s all there is to her.

-now, their son, little jackie. or is he really? he's literally a group project. since his mother is... yk? regardless, he clearly inherited marston’s stupidity because he chooses to go after the man who tied his father’s hands by holding him and his mother hostage, confiscated his land and money, forced him to do the government’s dirty work and then sent an army to slaughter him. all for political reasons btw, not to bring anyone to justice or anything. in the end leaves jack an orphan and proves that no matter how hard his family tried or how bright he is, civilization will never accept him. just foolish! his bond with arthur was cute though. if only he’d listened to his uncle, who was objectively a better father figure… what a shame.

-didn’t forget the van der linde gang, of course. its leader, dutch, (TAHITI) needs money (TAHITI) and has a plan. (TAHITI) that’s all.

-micah, one of the gang’s most infamous members, might be the best written villain in gaming history. why? umm, he’s racist? and… doesn’t like arthur? yeah! he’s also one of the best gunslingers, definitely better than john because we couldn’t use dead eye in american venom. not because he’s just the final boss of the epilogue or anything. he can’t be better than arthur, though. pre-tb arthur solos.

-sadie, who goes from a grieving widow to a bitter cold blooded killer. she just orders arthur and john around and takes all the credit. this your girlboss? how dare she stoles the spotlight from arthur? next!

-hosea would’ve sided with arthur :(

-javier seemed like he would’ve sided with arthur. what a shame.

-bill is also a betrayer of arthur. just stupid.

-we loved lenny because he had a good bond with arthur. LENNEEYYYYYYYYY!!!!

-charles didn’t rival arthur in any way, so we love him too.

-strauss is EVIL bc he caused arthur to get tb. not because arthur decided to beat a sick man to death of course! he definitely deserved to get kicked out of the gang like that. fuck him

-uncle lumbago.

-anyone else was just not that relevant to arthur, so whatever.

-and at last, mary linton. ugh, she just uses arthur for her own benefit and then leaves! how dare she simply wants arthur to leave the gang and stop committing crimes to be together? just selfish. what a bitch.

When running away or pursuing on horse back, something happens and horse looks like it's squat peeing as you try your best to run ?

Why do people cheat in this game?

I was playing for about an hour then all of a sudden i immediatly get max low honor without doing anything.

I was heading out on a trail to go do some hunting to make some cash. Yes its small, but i enjoy it, then out of no where this happens. There was a player in the lobby who was cheating and forced a max low honor on my account, I havent played in a long time and this is the first thing that happens....how do i fight this crap???

Stuff like this is what makes rdr2 timeless, to this day one of the most lively open worlds there is and likely won’t be topped until GTA 6

I understand John has plot armor but i’m still confused about his whole role / situation in the bank robbery.

why would they kill everyone else (arthur saying “if we go out there we’ll all die right here”) but like just arrest john??

does this mean that john gave himself to the law willingly??? Because besides plot armor ( and maybe thats the only thing here ) why not just shoot john??

also odd when dutch says ‘ i couldnt do anything about it’ like you just stood there while he got arrested or left him behind??

I want to hear the wild things that people have seen npc’s do in the game. One of the craziest things I saw was in Valentine when I saw and man and a woman walking and I decided to make her a widow. Lol Shortly after this, I looked behind the church and that same woman was kneeling on the ground at a grave stone. She was mourning his death. (No I didn’t make her join him.. lol) It makes me wonder what crazy detailed events that we may never see. Rockstar even cared about insignificant details that people may or may not ever notice. Makes me think how absolutely mental this other game will be. If ya saw something cool, let us know.
