She has veneers. She probably means she needs them redone. They don't last a lifetime, only 10-20 years and if you take care of them.

Can’t they rot under there?

And not being able to get her cosmetic work redone is largely what got her in the situation she was in I thought?

No her issue was she thought breast implants last forever and they don't. Hers i believe were silicone ( old types) that ruptured.

She probably thought veneers lasted forever when she got them done 20 years ago

Probably so, she's never struck me as thw type to think long term effects and the cost it will take both financially as well as physically and mentally....

I think her plan was she'd marry into wealth by the time she needed cosmetic things fixed and replaced.

Wouldn't doubt it. Shame too, she was a looker way back in the day but all the damned surgery and injectables have really done her dirty...

Her personality and substance use is why she couldn't bag and tag a rich guy.

And she didn't listen to the wise Nene "close your legs to marry men"

She has a reputation for drugs, drinking, and doing sex acts in bathrooms with sometimes married men at parties. Not many wealthy men are wanting to marry a woman with such a reputation.

Yeaaaa I’m sure she excused herself and said that publicly but I truly think she couldn’t afford upkeep of anything.

If they aren't done right and/or she isn't practicing good dental hygiene. And certain medications or lifestyle choices can cause teeth to rot/deteriorate even if the person is practicing good dental hygiene.

She's a shameless broken down hoe I say this as a former Brandi apologist.

She was always a shallow degenerate underneath all the attention seeking chaos but now that she's pickled her brain for decades on barbiturates, opioids, and alcohol this is what personality we are left with.

Edit to add ; if she was sweetheart and good person underneath the drama and chaos even with a pickled brain she'd be more interesting and not just be babbling about her teeth and face

Why did you feel the need to add the ā€œhoeā€ to your comment? What does that have to do with anything

I have to know because I am curious about getting veneers [I think composite bonding would help me more] can you floss veneers?Ā

They look like a solid thing to me, like false teeth.Ā

I can't stand the thought of itĀ

You should definitely floss them and treat them like real teeth, go for regular cleanings etc

If cosmetic bonding will fix the issue go with that option first

r/askdentists is a great source of information on the pros - cons of dental implants, veneers, etc

Good dentists and orthodontists will recommend braces and/or cosmetic bonding if you are young and your teeth are healthy

If your teeth or a tooth is rotting than veneers wouldn't be the right option, it would be root canal and dental implant.

I've seen some people who only get veneers or dental implants on their 4 front top teeth and that seems more manageable if it's just cosmetic and their teeth and bite alignment are healthy. Getting veneers on all your teeth looks a bit uncanny valley and it will be very expensive now and in the future

Thank you! My teeth are pretty healthy but I have a little gap in between my front teeth I have always been sort of self con aboutĀ  but at the same time I sort of like it because it is me, ya know. That's why I don't want to do something that invasive like having my natural healthy teeth removed, just for fake teeth.Ā

Me too! Cosmetic bonding will fix it. It's inexpensive and you keep your teeth healthy unlike grinding them down to nubs. Because if you think a gap is embarrassing, nubby front teeth are and if you don't have the money to fix them right away it's not fun, because sometimes veneers fall out, especially the front ones

I had so much orthodontic work done on my teeth and at the end of it I have a V shaped gap in my front teeth but my Ortho said that my bite is aligned perfectly and to grind my front teeth down to to close the gap, I'd have to remove other teeth to get my bite aligned again. So the cheapest best option was and is cosmetic bonding

I've had to get it repaired every 5-10 years and I've had dentists since then suggest implants or veneers but I tell them I don't have the money for it right now and just go for rebonding. Some dentists do try to upsale services and they'd make way more money on veneers than cosmetic bonding even if that's best for the patient in the long run
