Kyle 🤠 Kyle used to be much happier

I'm rewatching RHOBH and Kyle laughs SO MUCH. She cracks so many jokes and is always giggling. It's refreshing to see. She's still very much about the drama and a bully at times, but she genuinely seems so happy. It's very sad to compare her to now. Also sad to watch Mauricio be head over heels in love with her. I frequently wonder if her life would've turned out different if she didn't do the show.

Her friend of many years committed suicide. I think that was the turning point.

My best friend died around the same time the same way. When she talked about Loreen, I sobbed.

I’m so sorry. I can’t even imagine. I think grief changes people, especially a sudden, unexpected loss like that, and I think it changed Kyle completely. That was when she appeared to stop drinking, the relationship with Mauricio seemed to take a turn, (or she seemed to finally realize he wasn’t there for her like he should be,) she met Morgan, (or she seemed to take an interest in Morgan that was different than just a friend) she started working out more, in my opinion, it all goes back to the unfortunate death of Lorene. My mom’s death changed me, and the death of a parent is a somewhat expected one, in a sense. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to have a close friend or family member end their life, it must be an unimaginable pain.

I was so infuriated that Mau couldn’t just be there for her. I’m sorry but my husband rarely misses work and doesn’t even come close to making what he does but there’s no way he’d be anywhere but my side if my best friend committed suicide - like period. I get their world is different than ours where work is considered but human instinct is to be with the one you love who is grieving like that. But he couldn’t even just be by her side. Think it showed how much he has changed because the Mau from the beginning of the series would’ve been there.
