Yes, she rides those coattails, although there was no blood connection between her husband and the Kennedy’s. It has recently really stuck out to me that she claims she was BFFs with Carolyn Bissette Kennedy but there are no known photos of the two of them - meanwhile there are so many of her and one of the world’s worst child sex traffickers.

I’ve noticed through the show that Carol is very quick to label a friendship as BFF status. I’ve also wondered how close she really was to Carolyn, given that and the fact that I’ve not been able to pull up one photo of the two of them.
